Serato's stems sound much worse, more like the 2021 version of VDJ with the old stem algorithm. Also the vocal separation is outstanding for a DJ software. The full 5 stem mixing is also very useful for electronic music, you can mute the kick and bass seperately instead of using a low cut filter or EQ. With a 4 channel hardware mixer you can even use 4 channel EQs to level the stems and use the standard EQ of 2 decks at the same time. The ability to use the EQ to actually level the stems on the fly is brilliant. So you can start playing any song with stem separation immediately. And they are calculated in the background when files are openend.
